About
This extremely spacious cottage is named after the Ashwath tree, also known as Ficus religiosa or the sacred fig tree, which is a large deciduous tree that is native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. It is a revered tree in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, and is considered to be a symbol of longevity, knowledge, and enlightenment.
In Ayurvedic medicine, various parts of the Ashwath tree are used for their medicinal properties. The leaves are believed to have anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic effects, while the bark is used to treat skin conditions and digestive disorders. The figs of the tree are also believed to have various health benefits, including as a natural laxative and as a treatment for respiratory problems.
Ashwath is also believed to have a positive effect on the mind and is used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. The tree is also considered to be a spiritual symbol, and is often used in meditation and other spiritual practices.
